Michael specialises in property, local government, and infrastructure.
Michael has significant experience across all aspects of property law, advising clients in the public and private sectors on buying, selling, developing, leasing, managing, and operating their property assets. He has an extensive track record advising on major projects.
Michael has particular expertise in the Public Works Act, including acquisition and compensation negotiations, and the offer back obligations on disposal.
Michael is accredited by Land Information New Zealand to undertake Crown property work. He is a member of the New Zealand Law Society – Property Law Section.
