Valerie leads the Information Services team which includes the IT, Research and Records Management functions.  She provides leadership and advice on technology including the development and implementation of the technology strategy for the firm.

Valerie is passionate about transforming the business through the use of modern and innovative digital solutions that benefit both our people and our clients.   

An increasing focus is ensuring the firm has the technology, systems and processes in place to provide efficient delivery of service, while ensuring staff and client records remain secure and private. 

Prior to joining Simpson Grierson, Valerie held a variety of training, implementation and consulting roles with Spark NZ (formerly gen-i).

Valerie is a member of the Governing Council of the Oceania Legal Security Forum, and Knowledge Advisor with the International Legal Technology Association.
