Simpson Grierson is home to New Zealand's strongest environmental and resource management team.  We have an exciting opportunity to join the team of experts based in our Wellington office, and who are involved in many of the country's leading resource management cases and most significant projects.

We are looking for an intermediate to senior level solicitor, with 4+ years’ experience in resource management, environmental, public law and/or local government law.  Working for developers, corporates, local authorities and public bodies, this role will allow you to get involved in high profile urban development and infrastructure projects, housing developments, freshwater management, strategic policy development and planning, and RMA/local government litigation. 

There is a lot of interesting work on offer with some exciting projects lined up for 2025 and beyond, and plenty of support from a cohesive, friendly team and partners who are experts in their field. This high-performing team is part of a national group that has offices in Auckland and Christchurch, all of which work collaboratively and have a great culture.
