Simpson Grierson welcomes three to partnership
We’re pleased to announce that Auckland-based lawyers Anastasiya Gutorova, Sarah Mitchell and Dominic Toomey will join our partnership, effective from 1 January 2023.

Anastasiya Gutorova, Corporate
Anastasiya has proven her ability advising on some of the most significant M&A transactions in New Zealand and has built a strong reputation through her industry connections, including in her role as a Council member of the NZ Private Capital Association. She has also impressed through her high profile advocacy for Ukraine during the course of the year.
Sarah Mitchell, Planning & Environment
Sarah specialises in consenting major developments and has been key to the growth of Simpson Grierson’s work in the urban development space. Current projects Sarah is advising on include the Huia Water Treatment Plant, the Eastern Busway, the Warkworth Ridge housing development and the Beachlands South private plan change.
Dominic Toomey, Banking & Finance
Dominic advises domestic and foreign lenders and borrowers on all aspects of financing transactions. He has specialist knowledge in syndicated and club lending structures and is a recognised expert in the financing of technology companies. Dominic has advised on the financing of some of the most significant leveraged transactions in the market and is a thought leader in the emerging area of green and sustainable financing.
