New litigation partner announced amid firm-wide promotions
Today we’re proud to announce a raft of new promotions, including that of senior litigation and dispute resolution lawyer, Nick Chapman, who joins our partnership in the new year.
Alongside Nick’s promotion to partnership, we’re also promoting several other talented lawyers including Chris Ryan, Jade Magrath, Josiah Koh and Rachel Nightingale who will become Senior Associates; and Alana Harrison, Conor Masila, Grace Dimond, Hamish MacDonald, Henry King, Natalie Wilson and Rachael Hodge who will become Senior Solicitors in the new year.

Based in Pōneke | Wellington, Nick has a broad range of legal experience with a focus on high-stakes complex commercial disputes across different sectors, and in particular commercial disputes that involve public elements.
Nick has appeared before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, and represented clients across a broad range of disputes and industries, including commercial contracts, the Emissions Trading Scheme, judicial reviews, insurance, class actions, financial services, telecommunications and technology.
Nick is also an Adjunct Lecturer and Teaching Fellow at Victoria University’s Faculty of Law where he teaches the University’s compulsory course on the core skills of legal research, legal writing, legal analysis, and advocacy.
